Canadian Skies Hospitality Group operates airport food and beverage concessions in Canada, with roots in Western Canada and a growing national presence. We shape each program around the travellers, local tastes and travel patterns of the airport we serve, backed by hands-on leadership and proven experience in high-volume, regulated terminals. As we expand into new markets, we partner with airport authorities on new concepts, redeveloped spaces and new locations nationwide.
Airports are rarely mistaken for home — but that’s exactly the gap we try to close. Whatever gate you’re sitting at, whatever city you’ve landed in, we want our restaurants to feel less like a stop along the way and more like a place you’re glad to be. Familiar warmth, genuine care, a moment to breathe — home isn’t a place on a map. It’s a feeling we aim to recreate, gate after gate, city after city.

Our targeted geographic strategy concentrates on the highest-yield, highest-traffic concourses within Canada’s major air-travel hubs, where dwell time and passenger mix support premium QSR and fast-casual performance. These airports collectively represent a large share of Western Canada’s origin-and-destination traffic as well as growing international connectivity, giving us scale benefits in procurement, brand awareness, and operational learnings we can port across the network.

Strategic focus on the core Domestic and International Terminals, where Edmonton’s catchment area and strong provincial economy continue to drive steady passenger growth. In 2024, YEG handled about 7.53 million passengers (commercial terminal traffic).
Edmonton Airport
Primary focus on the dense Domestic, Transborder, and International Concourses, especially high-visibility nodes serving business travel, U.S. connections, and overseas departures. In 2024, YYC welcomed roughly 18.9 million passengers, setting a new airport record.
YYC + 1YYC’s passenger profile skews toward higher-income corporate travelers, U.S.-bound flyers, and long-haul international guests, supporting elevated, premium-priced dining with strong beverage and grab-and-go.

Strategic presence in high-volume Domestic and International gates, leveraging Vancouver’s role as Canada’s primary Pacific gateway. In 2024, YVR served about 26.2 million passengers, the second-highest total in its history.
YVR’s traffic mix includes a high proportion of Asia-Pacific, transcontinental, and long-haul travelers with longer dwell times and a clear preference for premium, local, and multicultural culinary offerings. This creates a strong runway for chef-driven fast-casual, regional “taste of B.C.” concepts, and globally inspired brands that can capture both destination-seeking tourists and frequent international flyers.

Together, these hubs provide a balanced footprint across mid-scale growth (YEG) and high-volume, high-yield gateways (YYC and YVR), allowing us to optimize concept fit by terminal, tailor price-tiering to passenger demographics, and build a repeatable Western Canada airport playbook.
We wear our roots proudly. From the ingredients on our menus to the people behind our counters, everything we do is shaped by the country we call home — its landscapes, its communities, and the quiet generosity that Canadians are known for around the world.
Being Canadian isn't a theme we apply to our restaurants. It's the foundation they're built on.
